About Us
Stubbs Building and House Movers have been moving structures for three
generations. Below are some of our more recent moves. For information about
how we may be able to help you move your building, fill out our
quote request form.
Our past projects include:
| In 1992, we moved Joe Hall at St. Johns University
in Collegeville, Minnesota. The move was featured on the cover of "The
House and Building Mover" (right). The move was very complicated, with
a precise 90 degree turn in the middle and a 180 degree turn at the end.
| In Edina, Minnesota,we moved a very large brick house and
its garage across the street. |
We relocated a 100 year old barn 14 miles to Murphy's Landing
in Shakopee, Minnesota. The roof had to be removed in order to clear
power lines. |

| This log house was quite large and had 7 fireplaces. It
was raised in order to build a new foundation. Two views of the cribbing
show how the building was supported as it was raised. |
| Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brunswick, MN. The church was moved
intact to a new position on its site. |
| A large bus shelter roof moved intact in the city of Minneapolis |
| A concrete and stone sign--the footings and sign were moved
in one peice. |
| A brick & clay tile garage was picked up,
rotated 180 degrees, and moved back 36 feet. The garage had a basement
under the old site. |
| An enigine and generator were moved into its plant in Delano, Minnesota. |
